Lloyd Greenfield, LCSW
I have always had a strong desire to work with people. My father has been a clinician in Colorado Springs for almost 40 years. He has been my inspiration for joining the healthcare field. It is great privileges to be have been trained and work along side him. Prior to going into private practice I have worked in mental clinics, primarily with high-risk populations and children. Before graduate school, I worked in the redevelopment and revitalization of New Orleans after hurricane Katrina working a in a housing redevelopment corporation organizing and managing volunteer census groups, and working at a free health clinic. I am committed to helping as many people as I can, as long I can, with whatever tools I can. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I received my masters from the University of Denver.
I work with my two pups Beowoof and Rosie, but do note they do not have to be in session. On occasion, they have two alternates Bailey and Layla.
I live on the West side with my Wife and my son. We enjoy the outdoors, art, movies, sports, music and traveling.

I’ve been engaged as a mental health practitioner in a variety of capacities and settings since 1970. I’ve lived and worked in Colorado Springs since 1982. What I’ve learned over the years as a psychotherapist I’ve shared with my son. Lloyd has contributed immensely to the practice; providing me with a fresh set of eyes examining human problems and caring for them, as well as a youthful perspective which enables us to treat adolescents and young adults more effectively.
When I’m not working I enjoy hanging out with my wife Gayle, visiting with my kids, fishing, writing, tending to my roses, and travel.
